1. Understand that you are a sinner and that your sin separates you from God.

2. Understand that Jesus became the sacrifice to pay the price for your sin.

3. Repent and believe in Jesus Christ.

4. Receive forgiveness which can only come from Jesus Christ who alone died for our sins.

4. Allow Jesus to be Lord over all things in your life.

5. Be water baptised.

It is a good thing to confess to others that you are now a Christian and to find a church which preaches the Gospel. Seek the fellowship of other believiers so as to ensure you are not manipulated or persuaded to join a church which takes on the 'face of christianity' but which may be a cult.
